The Education Development Office (EDO) of Golestan University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine was established in 2013 in line with the policies of the relevant ministry and with the aim of improving the quantity and quality of education. Based on the description of specific duties and interaction with the Center for Studies and Development of Medical Sciences Education (EDC) of the university, this office operates in the areas of educational planning, evaluation, teacher training and continuous education, and with the use of group participation of faculty members. In line with the description of the duties that have been determined for the education development office of the medical school, all activities are carried out in the form of four committees as follows.

Goals
Improving the medical education system and institutionalizing quality development through raising the level of education and learning to train capable medical graduates
Compilation and development of curriculum development
Implementation of evaluation (evaluation of professors, evaluation of educational performance of faculty members, evaluation of exams and internal evaluation of the educational group)
