Lending department is one of the most active parts of the library.The main task of this section is to lend non-reference books.The purpose of the lending department is to simplify the provision services and make easy the usage of resources.The library is equipped with comprehensive web-based library software – Azarakhsh-
The system of shelves is open and in addition to the guidance of librarians, there are several locations to search the contents for clients
Other activities in this section:
1-Registering faculty members, students and staff to subscribe to the library
2-Accountability to all clients
3-checking in books and other resources
4-Putting books back in the shelves
5-Putting books on shelves and fixing bugs in the books and identifying missing ones
6-Separating worn books to send to bindings
7-Announcing the termination of the user's' account
8-Collaboration for weeding the resources
9-Issuing membership card
10-Tracking and reviewing the return of resources and the use of delay compliance rules in accordance with the criteria
11-Investigating the requests of clients about books' reservation
12-Setting up cataloged books
13-Reviewing the shortcomings of book'scirculation and provide corrective suggestions
14-Receiving students' suggested titles for buying books and cooperation with the order section
15-Minor book's repairs
