زمینه و هدف : اختلال نقص توجه / بیش‌فعالی شایع‌ترین اختلال روانپزشکی دوران کودکی از نظر میزان مراجعه به مراکز خدمات درمانی است. این مطالعه به منظور تعیین اثر بازی‌های ریتمیک بر مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان پیش‌دبستانی مبتلا به اختلال نقص توجه / بیش‌فعالی انجام شد.

روش بررسی: در این مطالعه از نوع شبه‌تجربی به همراه پیش‌آزمون، پس‌آزمون به همراه گروه شاهد، 30 نفر از دانش‌آموزان پیش‌دبستانی شهر اصفهان که به اختلال نقص توجه / بیش‌فعالی مبتلا بودند؛ به صورت غیرتصادفی در دو گروه قرار داده شدند. ابزار مورد استفاده، پرسشنامه کانرز سال 1997 و چک لیست مهارت‌های اجتماعی سال 2004 بود.

یافته‌ها : بازی‌های ریتمیک سبب افزایش معنی‌دار مهارت اجتماعی کودکان مبتلا به نقص توجه / بیش‌فعالی گردید و این افزایش مهارت در مرحله پیگیری نیز ادامه داشت (P<0.05).

نتیجه‌گیری : بازی‌های ریتمیک باعث افزایش مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان مبتلا به اختلال نقص توجه / بیش‌فعالی می‌گردد.
