Biography of Mehdi Zarvandi
I was born into a religious family in one of the most deprived villages of Neyshabur in 1977. After preparatory education in the village and city of Neyshabur in 1995, I entered Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and after completing the general medicine course in 2002, I became the head of the Secretariat of Islamic Views in Medicine from the subsidiaries of the Vice Chancellor for Research at the University.
In 2005, I became a maid of the Forensic Medicine Organization and served as the head of forensic medicine in Neyshabur for six years and since 2011, I have been in charge of the Khorasan Razavi Courthouse Clinic and I have been assigned to set up the clinic and at the same time, I was working as its technical officer.
In 2013, I was accepted in the field of Iranian medicine specialty in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with the rank of 1st in quota and 27th in the whole country and during the residency period, I was selected as the chosen research student each year and was honored by the faculty and the university and for about a year, I was secretary of the Student Research Committee of the Faculty. During this period, I presented more than 7 book titles and more than 50 articles in domestic and foreign conferences and published several ISI and non-ISI articles with the help of colleagues. My Ph.D. and GP theses have been published both in the form of books (the first, by the Scientific Council of Razavi Quds Astan and the latter, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences).
 Before serving as a faculty member of Golestan University of Medical Sciences (until March 2020), I was an official employee of the Provincial Forensic Medicine Department in the commission unit responsible for handling the medical malpractice cases.
In 2019, in the 16th call of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, I participated and, with GOD help, after passing the relevant tests and approved by the ministry, I started working with an assistant professor degree at Golestan University of Medical Sciences since the beginning of 1400.
