I am an MD, Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine (2013), and had four years of the post-doctoral research at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where more than half of my Ph.D. program was conducted as a visiting student. I have recently started a faculty position at the School of Advanced Medical Technologies, Golestan University of Medical Sciences (GoUMS, Gorgan, IR), where I teach several courses including Molecular Biology Laboratory Techniques, Cell Culture, Bioinformatics, Neuroanatomy and Molecular Physiology. I have the experience of working in two different disciplines, "Experimental Molecular Biology" and "Computational Biology". My wide-range of experience includes "Lab Mentorship" for Cell Culture, DNA/RNA assay, Gene Cloning, PCR based methods, Protein expression, and purification methods. I have experience of primary and cell line culture, as well as working with small animal models (including surgeries), and BSL3 environments. |
