Goals of  food department

1- Monitoring the safety, health and quality of food and beverages produced in factories and workshops, products' sampling and sending them to laboratories
2-Controlling and monitoring all imports and exports of food and beverages' products
3- Handling public complaints on the production and processing of food, beverage, cosmetic
4- Visiting and commenting on the construction of factories, cooperation with industry, mining and trade organizations as well as department of agriculture and the municipality in order to issue or amendment the license
5- Collecting, classifying and analyzing received information of the affiliated units' activities and suggesting the appropriate methods to reduce the errors and problems of production units
6- Holding related workshops and seminars for experts and technical managers of control and monitoring of food
7- Evaluation of laboratory results to achieve the problems of food production lines
8- Holding technical and legal committees for reviewing and approval of sanitary licensing
9- Issuing sanitary Certificate to export food and beverage
10- Issuance of production license utilizing empty capacity
11- Implementation of the national plan (PMS) and sending the samples to laboratories and analyzing the results
12- Holding joint meetings with officials of health networks from all around the province in order to coordinate policies and harmonization of instructions and supervising their implementation
13- Annual monitoring of health networks to evaluate the performance indicators According to the organizational tasks and send feedback to improve assignments
14- Sampling from imported cargo in Incheh borun customs administration and sending them to laboratories, evaluating the results and correspondence with customs to release or not release the goods
15- Studying, research and reviewing the latest findings of scientific and technical knowledge
16- Participation in research programs in the food and beverage industry
17- Training the technical managers of factories and workshops in the province
18- Tracking the Cases sent to judicial authorities to determine the condition of the offender
19- Conducting periodic inspections of factories and workhouses as well as warehouses, cold storage and stoves and assurance of maintaining GMP conditions in factories
20- Visiting and sampling of food storage centers such as: warehouses, distribution centers and cold storage
21- Visiting the site announced by the applicant in order to assigned monitoring ID
