Development of evidence is essential for evidence-based health policy-making and health management, and improving the quantity and quality of health services. Also, Providing the necessary conditions is important for the use of the right tools in health management to achieve equity in health through designing applicable models . According to this approach and mission of Ministry of Health to promote health and respond to the demands and needs of the community,  Golestan University of Medical Sciences established "Health Mangement and Social Development Research Center".

Health Mangement and Social Development Research Center is a University Center that established in 2010. Health Mangement and Social Development Research Center affiliated with the Deputy for research of the Golestan University of Medical Sciences.
