The President of Golestan University of Medical Sciences issued a message on the occasion of Physician's Day. The text of Dr. Fazel's message is as follows:
In the name of God
Physicians are one of the main social assets of the society, and the protection of their endeavor is an appreciation of the efforts and initiatives of the elites who, despite shortcomings, they selflessly serve the honorable people of the province.
Precisely, the model of Iranian ethical physicians is philosopher & scientist Avicenna, who is confirmed by the world for his unique role in the development of this profession.
In the great sage thought, a patient's smile and a gift of health to the people have a great reward where all the sufferings and hardships of the medical profession are relieved, and today is an appropriate time to appreciate the sincere Physicians who inherit this great sage Avicenna's birthday. In addition thanking them for all their efforts in the field of health, education and treatment, I would like to appreciate them for their efforts in growth and development, as well as for teaching and training the sacred medical profession knowledge.
I hope that the precious blessing of health will always be the light of life for these loved ones and their respected families.
