 Set up treatment programs in provincial centers and supervising their implementation, Planning and Designing qualitative and quantitative improvement of public or private health affairs, Follow-up diagnostic and therapeutic problems in province, reviewing the problems and provide appropriate solutions

Recruitment and distribution of medical and paramedical personnel, aligned with the policies of department of Development and Resource Management deputy in the recruitment and distribution of human and financial resources in affiliated medical centers

Issuing and renewal of medical institutions' licenses

Supervising the preparation and distribution of medical equipment, monitoring how to use them and organizing all matters related to medical equipment

Continuous monitoring and evaluation of all health centers at various time intervals through subordinate offices in public and private hospitals as well as clinics, these include: Subspecialty and specialized services in emergency units, nursing, midwifery, laboratory and radiology and other centers

Holding medical commissions and making correct decisions in the medical council

Explanation the issues related to medical tariff and investigating offenses and complaints in this area and coordinating tariffs with other insurance agencies

 Accessibility of specific patient to needed medical care and trying to inform and educate them, Follow-up, monitoring and providing services related to the specific patient like dialysis, cancer, diabetes, hemophilia, thalassemia and transplant patients

Providing emergency medical services and least complications

Protecting the health of the community through dealing with offenders according to domestic laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Coordination of nursing and midwifery affairs

Coordinating with Education and Health departments in the case of dealing with outpatient and inpatient without any disruption or reduction in training

Planning on raising efficiency in affiliated medical institutions in office and non-office hours, providing recommendations and implementation of specific plans in order to accelerate the treatment of inpatients and outpatients

Planning the development on Subspecialty projects (Kidney and heart transplant, keratoplasty in the framework of headquarters' rules and guidelines)

Supervision of affiliated medical institutions of the University such as hospitals and rehabilitation institutions and private treatment centers and charity

Monitoring the standards' evaluation in medical wards and clinics

Investigation and monitoring the paraclinical services and affiliated medical institutions
